Plan, model, scan

From the plan to the model

A 2D plan becomes the model, automatically. Scan against the plan is the next room, not built yet.

From plan to 3D model

A 2D plan becomes a 3D model, a simple digital model of the building made of elements such as walls, doors and windows, automatically.

Straight from the DWG drawing, a drawing file made in design software. ConstructQ builds the model from it.

Scan against the plan

Scan against the plan is an idea for later. It is not built in yet.

A scan of the site would then be set against the plan. Solid lines show what is built. Dashed lines show what the plan also provides for.

  • What is built
  • Also provided for in the plan

The defect on the building element

The defect belongs to the building element it was found on, not only to a list. Here on the north wall: a crack.

A tap on the note brings that wall forward. The east wall and the south door still wait, with no defect.

The notes are in German, like the program. North wall: defect, crack. East wall and south door: no defect logged yet.
